A Place to Begin Again
This Easter season, as we celebrate 65 years of Ignatius House, we are especially grateful for the 20 acres of forested grounds along the Chattahoochee River that make this ministry possible. For so many retreatants, it is along the wooded trails, beneath the trees, and in the quiet outdoor spaces that they are finally able to rest, to breathe, and to encounter God. These natural spaces are not just beautiful—they are essential to the experience of silence, prayer, and renewal that defines Ignatius House.
But these grounds require care. Our 1.5 miles of trails have been impacted by storms in the last year, with erosion in several areas that now need restoration. The trees, plants, and outdoor prayer spaces that hold so many sacred moments also require ongoing stewardship. This Easter, our goal is to raise $30,000 to restore our trails and care for this sacred space—so that all who come here can continue to find peace, healing, and the quiet presence of God in creation.
Will you consider making a gift today to help restore these trails and preserve the quiet spaces where retreatants encounter God?
